New England Tubing Technologies is closely monitoring the global outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Our priority is the health, safety and well-being of our staff, customers, and suppliers, while continuing to provide uninterrupted delivery of products and services. New England Tubing Technologies is being proactive in our approach to this issue, paying particular attention to information and recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and implementing guidance as it is updated. We are also following the direction of appropriate governmental agencies regarding any quarantines, closures, or other health measures as appropriate. Our management team meets regularly to track the situation, and modify and communicate any changes to our current plan as the need arises.
The Governor of the State of New Hampshire has issued a Stay-At-Home order which went into effect March 28, 2020 for all non-essential businesses. On May 1, 2020 the Stay-At-Home order was extended to May 31, 2020 with some relaxations. New England Tubing Technologies meets the requirement of an essential business involving health care operations and critical manufacturing, which means we will continue to operate and manufacture the goods you rely on. In addition to this qualification, we have also received letters from our customers stating that as key suppliers, they need our continued support. If you fall into this category, know that we are still here, manufacturing your products. Further, to fully support these directives during this unprecedented time, we are prioritizing within our manufacturing schedule any product related to the COVID-19 crisis. As always, we are doing so with the safety of all employees at the forefront of our operations.
We are actively monitoring our global supplier network and freight lanes to identify any risks of business interruption. New England Tubing is currently operating on regular delivery schedules, but depending on the location and any directives from local authorities and the United States government, the situation could change very rapidly.
All business travel for our employees has currently been placed on hold. We are also restricting visitors to our facility at this time. New England Tubing Technologies personnel will be in contact with your personnel to discuss mutually acceptable and feasible alternative communication methods, which includes collaborative meeting and video conferencing options.
For those employees who continue to work in our offices, factory, and warehouse, we have instituted daily temperature and wellness screenings, require the use of personal protective equipment we have provided, and continue to implement occupancy and social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC. Additionally, we have tested our secure remote access systems and technology infrastructure to adjust working arrangements for our employees when feasible. We have the internal systems and processes in place to confirm that remote communication methods and systems are available to our employees and have begun implementing work-from-home options for designated office staff. We are prepared to continue to provide our customers with seamless service during this unprecedented time. Should you need to contact your Account Manager, please feel free to phone or email them directly, or alternatively email email@example.com, complete the Contact form on our website, or dial our main company phone number (603-838-2261) and asked to be connected. We have also implemented additional steps to ensure we maintain a higher level of cleanliness in our facility. We are regularly performing deep cleaning and disinfecting of all common areas, and are have provided materials to our employees to keep their personal areas clean and disinfected.
As we continue to monitor the situation, additional changes in our operations may be necessary in order to comply with government guidelines. Please keep us informed of potential actions your organization is taking, or may be considering, in response to this situation that could impact our mutual relationship such as increased or decreased purchases in the near future and/or any other actions that we can evaluate together.
